ARE YOU LIKE vs DO YOU LIKE

Cartoon by Ted 2010

Dua ungkapan ini sering keliru penggunaannya.

Subject + am/is/are + like  = seperti
Subject + am/is/are + not + like = tidak seperti

Subject + like = Suka
Subject + do/doesn't + like = tidak suka

ARE YOU LIKE ...........  ? (Apakah kamu seperti.........? )
DO YOU LIKE ...............? (Apakah kamu suka.......... ? )

Jadi hati-hati ya...biar tidak salah pengertian...
Coba bayangin kalo kita bilang  "I am like cat"  . Maksudnya saya suka kucing, yang keluar "saya seperti kucing...."
